The Centre's strategies shall be to

• put a concerted effort, through collaboration amonge 7 universities in the consortium, utilizing existing personnels, facilities, and equipments, to create cutting edge research outputs of international standard, and increase training opportunities to produce highly gualified mathematicians,
  


• actively seek collaborations with foreign institutes of high repute in mathematics,
  


• be responsive to the needs of the private sector by opening a line of communication with the industry through members of the Centre's Steering Committee to which representatives from key target industries will be invited to join.
